Well she obviously agreed to do it so she must have been happy to do what they told her, and what she would be wearing. Maxim/sun/nuts all are trash and ive traditionaly thought the same of the girls who supply them - ive met katie price, and as a person shes nice, looking at her occupation she is concidered as trash. Kaley is better than being photographed to fulfil a few perverts, as thats who people buy this sort of stuff are, desires.
I do agree with you when you talk about the sexist part of it. In my opinion Kaley is beautiful regardless of what she wears or how she poses and doesn't need to do a photoshoot like this. The fact remains though she must have been asked if she wanted to do it and she agreed to it. I also believe she probably has seen the pictures that would be released in the magazine and obviously gave permission for them to be released. Whatever reasons Kaley had, it was her decision. We may not agree to it but have to respect it.
I think claiming men who buy the magazine are perverts is a bit extreme. I know Albert well enough to know he is thinking of buying it because Kaley is in the magazine and he collects everything he can find about her. That is common fan behaviour. In fact, he never buys the magazine, but just this once he will. That doesn't make him a pervert, does it? The same thing goes for people who read these magazines, they aren't necessarily perverts.
I do understand your concerns though. But as I said, in the end it was Kaley's decision. I happen to believe Kaley is quite a headstrong woman and will surely not do anything she doesn't want to. The problem just is we probably won't know her reasoning behind all this, unless we ask her of course

Just to clairfy, i wasnt refering to anyone here, and actually totally know about the fan collecting syario - i do it myself. Just talking in general here, i dont think its right women should be used like that.

Calling everyone that reads Maxim, FHM etc perverts is pointless. I don't buy them but I know people who do and they buy them because of articles that interest them, whether it be about music, films or someone they're interested in (like we are with Kaley). This is why FHM stand for "For Him Magazine" because it has EVERYTHING that in general men are interested in not just women in their underwear. Which reminds me actually does anyone remember that picture of Kaley in Mens Health Magazine in a bathing costume? IMO that was worse than these photo's.
I don't think Kaley did these photos because she had too, to keep herself in the public eye if anything the show is doing most of that for her by just her being on it. She must have agreed to do this and as Jody said she will have seen the photo's before they went to press and are printed on the magazine. I have know idea why you compared Kaley to katie Price to be honest you couldn't get two further apart personalities. I don't like arguing on forums especially when I have things in common with the people on the forum, which is basically why we're here. I just think people are blowing this WAY out of proportion.

I think that some of you brings this to completely different "level". Jody said that, I said that also (but I think that my post is on of those which Albert moved to separate thread), Kaley knew what she's going into, and after the photoshoot, Kaley can pick the pics she'd like for cover (those are these three, up in this thread) and people from mag will then pick one of them that actually goes onto cover.
Also Kaley picks up the pics which are inside the mag, in the article.
So even if the pics are quite "revealing" she must agreed with them and as the Maxim is the mag meant for men, it's understandable that she won't pose there in a housecoat or something like that. And I don't think at all, that everyone who buy it is a pervert...Alex covered that pretty good, it's mag for men, with topics that men are interested in, so girls kinda "belong" there.
And Kaley was also in Men's healt and she was in her bikini, that pic was way more revealing than any of these and also it was in mag for men. I agree that these pics are revealing in a bit different way and Kaley is dressed to be as hot as possible, but still it's not like she is naked there or something.
And, also I don't think that she did this to make the show more popular, au contraire, I think she got this offer because the show is more popular...and because of "something" she accepted this offer.
